Description

Job Summary:

Field Service Engineer needed to perform a variety of maintenance related tasks to include installation, preventative maintenance, and/or site contract support for state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing/processing equipment. Assigned duties may include working any shift including weekends, on-call support, night shifts, and travel as required.  Multiple Roles Available!  Salary Range:  $35.00 - $55.00 per hour.
 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues including creation of next steps, escalation documentation, and research steps.

Perform routine maintenance with quality as a high standard.

Meticulously document all service activities, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed, to track performance and plan future maintenance.

Act as a primary point of contact between SCREEN and its customers, delivering clear and effective communication.

Act as an effective peer trainer supporting the customer and colleagues.

Ability to perform successfully in a demanding environment with varying workloads.

Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining strict safety standards.
 

Job Requirements:

Experience using diagnostic tools such as micrometers, calipers, multimeters and current clamps.

Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents

Ability to travel for training, backfill, installation support, and other company needs. Amount of travel could vary.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office programs.

Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to work within confined spaces.

Ability to work while wearing personal protective equipment for long periods.

Must be able to pass medical test and certification/training for respirator use including ability to work while wearing a positive pressure respirator.

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights while wearing fall protection.

Ability to sit, crouch, use hands, stoop, kneel stretch, twist, and reach.

Ability to walk >10K steps a day while wearing safety shoes/boots.

Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Work in cleanroom environment with moderate temperatures and noise levels.

Follow all rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safety while working at
customer sites.
Must have a valid passport and REAL ID for immediate travel. 


Education & Experience:

Position requires an Associate Degree in an Engineering field.  Completion of applicable military technical training and/or technical field experience
may substitute for an Associate Degree.
