About the role:


We are seeking a dedicated and   skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will   be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at   customer locations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving   abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:


· Installation: Setting up and testing new equipment   to ensure it functions correctly.

· Maintenance: Performing routine checks and   preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working order.

· Repair: Diagnosing and fixing equipment issues by replacing   parts or making necessary repairs.

· Troubleshooting: Using diagnostic tools and knowledge   to identify the root cause of a problem.

· Customer service: Communicating with clients,   explaining how to use products, and answering questions.

· Documentation: Completing accurate paperwork, work   orders, and reports in a timely manner. 

· Customer support: Follows up with customers,   handles complaints, and ensures customer satisfaction.

· Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to   improve service processes. Staying up to date on all industry trends and advancements   in technology.

· Experience: Proven experience as a Field Service   Technician or similar role.

· Technical knowledge: Strong   mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. 

· Communication: Excellent verbal and written   communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and staff.

· Customer service: The ability to provide   friendly, professional, and patient service, especially when dealing with   customer concerns.

· Organizational skills: The ability   to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and work orders simultaneously. The   ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Computer proficiency: Proficiency in   using diagnostic tools and software.

· Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and   willingness to travel to client sites.
