Job description

Summary:
Lead field service operations, technicians, customer support, equipment installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service projects for industrial automation/manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop Field Service Technicians and service operations.
  • Oversee scheduling, installations, startups, troubleshooting, upgrades, and customer issues.
  • Provide technical leadership for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls-related problems.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Sales teams.
  • Manage service projects, quotes, budgets, KPIs, and customer relationships.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed for critical projects and technical support.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of field service, technical service management, industrial automation, packaging, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience managing technicians, projects, scheduling, and customer support.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation knowledge.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and industrial controls preferred.
  • 40-60% travel throughout North America; occasional international travel.
