About the role:

This role is responsible for the on-site management of assigned projects, as well as leading efforts to improve project operations. This role will require project planning, onsite project management, and post project support. Travel of up to 90% will be required. While not in the field, this person will be responsible for the planning and execution of continuous improvement projects related to the overall operational success of the company.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful execution of assigned installation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, budget compliance, accurate documentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise installation crews and subcontractors, providing leadership, scheduling, and onsite support throughout project execution.
  • Serve as the primary onsite customer contact, collaborating with Project Engineers to resolve technical issues and communicate project updates.
  • Coordinate project planning, including scope review, resource allocation, material selection, inventory, transportation logistics, manpower, and scheduling.
  • Monitor project progress, labor, materials, safety, quality, and compliance with customer specifications and applicable codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to audit installation processes, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to company standards and best practices.
  • Complete project closeout activities, including documentation, inventory reconciliation, equipment return, and project reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing standardized processes, checklists, and operational best practices.
  • Support equipment maintenance planning, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and improving operational procedures related to project execution, inventory management, warehouse operations, and field service.
  • Travel up to 90%, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments, as required.


Requirements:
  • Previous customer facing experience in a technical role required.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Project Manager experience preferred.
  • Must have hands-on experience as a welder and/or pipe fitter, with the ability to perform or oversee welding and pipe fitting work on-site. Strong knowledge of pipe fitting components, materials, tools, and industry terminology is required.
  • Must have a positive, team-oriented attitude by approaching challenges with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset while fostering a respectful and supportive work environment.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service by adapting quickly to changing priorities, communicating professionally, and building positive relationships with customers and teammates.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
