Role: Service Manager

The Pool and Spa Place, a locally owned pool retailer and service provider in Cranbury, NJ, is seeking a motivated Pool Service Technician Manager to lead field technicians, manage client relationships, and ensure efficient route execution across Central New Jersey. This role is ideal for an experienced pool professional who values working with a close-knit team and contributing to a growing local company.

Location: Cranbury, NJ (service routes across Central New Jersey)

Key responsibilities:

  • Assign daily work to field service technicians.
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls, pool openings, and pool closings.
  • Create and manage service orders; review recommended work with technicians and communicate proposals to customers.
  • Oversee next-day work orders to facilitate inventory and stock pulls.
  • Coordinate with accounts and sales management on work order scheduling and priorities.
  • Update and maintain the customer database with accurate customer and service information daily.
  • Create quotes and follow up with customers to secure service work.
  • Open and close the store as needed and perform field service calls when required.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pool industry.
  • Practical knowledge of pool chemicals, common equipment brands, and filtration systems.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues professionally.
