  • Perform complex field service operations with strong technical skills.

  • Deliver outstanding services remotely or on-site, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating their needs.

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues.

  • Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems with minimal assistance.

  • Develop potential sales and business opportunities through customer knowledge.

  • Suggest product and process improvements to enhance operations.

  • Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis.

Your background

  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.

  • Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical trades.

  • College or university diploma/degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset.

  • Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work with power/mechanical equipment.

  • Hands-on experience with substation construction, high voltage equipment, and electrical testing.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software.

  • Current driver's license valid in the US and ability to work in the US.

  • Ability to travel to the US, Canada, and Mexico.

  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Pay Disclosure (Colorado Applicants Only):
The annual salary range for the Field Service Engineer (GCB) position is 107,700.00 to 134,600.00. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of what it expects to pay for this role in Colorado. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, and paid time off.
