About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our Operations team on our projects in Fort Wayne, IN. Mooresville, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute contract requirements and support the project's safety, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Exemplify Holder's commitment to safety and enforce compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Oversee on-site workforces, coordinating daily scope, sequencing, and inspection of installed work.
  • Assign responsibilities and collaborate with office and field teams to support project goals and manage risk.
  • Manage project site logistics and organize on-site activities to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to associates, supporting professional growth and team development.
  • Read and interpret construction design documents and specifications.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering-related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and time management abilities.

Preferred:
  • Experience managing or supporting complex commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with safety, quality, and schedule management standards in commercial construction.
