Job Description A growing and reputable community bank is hiring for a VP Loan Operations Manager to join their team and take a leadership role in their Operations department. As VP Loan Operations Manager the right candidate will be a strategic thinker and lead an operations staff by example. This organization has made great strides to be a leading employer in community banking and with the vision and philosophies of leadership, the person hired will be part of some exciting additions and changes that the banking industry is seeing to better serve their customers. The right VP Loan Operations Manager will embrace the company's vision and values to provide outstanding leadership and customer service. What You Need:
  • 5+ years of direct experience in retail loan operations within a banking or credit union setting
  • 2+ years leadership or management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
  • Strong understanding of retail/consumer loans and underwriting guidelines
  • Mortgage loan underwriting and knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working across departments with lenders, tellers, customer service
  • Experience with retail loan transactions, underwriting and document preparation
  • A go-getter, teamwork mentality to be an active participant in the day to day duties of loan operations
