Job Position: Administrative Assistant -Dripping Springs
Location: Dripping Springs, 78620
Pay Rate: starting at $21.00/hr
Description: Position Overview
A well-established commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a large, long-term construction project. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys structured administrative work, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and is comfortable supporting multiple project managers with complex documentation and processes.
This position will at a job site located in Dripping Springs.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Project Directors supporting field operations
-Manage subcontractor documentation, including contracts, change orders, billings, lien releases, and approvals
-Track subcontractor progress and maintain logs, schedules, and records
-Upload, organize, and maintain project documentation using SharePoint
-Assist with subcontractor billing workflows, including scanning, coding, routing, and approvals
-Maintain and update schedules and reports in Excel
-Support document flow throughout the lifecycle of the project
-Handle general office duties such as mail distribution, filing, typing, and occasional phone coverage
-Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth project operations
Qualifications
-High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
-Several years of administrative experience, ideally within construction or a project-based environment
-Strong Excel skills and comfort learning new software systems
-Experience with document management and process tracking
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
-Ability to work independently while supporting a team with varying personalities
-Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
-Active Notary license is a plus
-Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
