Overview

Are you the person who can walk into a dental office, quickly build a genuine relationship with the team, understand what matters to them, and turn that relationship into business?

We are looking for a Field Marketer who is energized by people, comfortable being out in the community, and motivated by measurable growth.

This is not a traditional desk-based marketing role.

You will serve as the local face of our dental specialty practices-building relationships with general dentists, pediatricians, schools, businesses, community organizations and other referral partners to increase awareness, strengthen referral relationships and ultimately drive new-patient growth.

The ideal candidate is a natural connector who is confident walking into an office without an appointment, starting a conversation with a practice manager or doctor, following up consistently, and turning a first introduction into a long-term relationship.

You should enjoy being on the road, meeting new people, creating opportunities and seeing the direct impact of your work.

Salary range for this role $58,000-$62,000 

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with general dentists and other professional referral sources.

Identify high-potential practices and create strategic outreach plans.

Make regular in-person visits, calls and emails to referral partners.

Introduce specialty providers and educate referral sources on services, capabilities and patient experience.

Develop new referral relationships while strengthening existing partnerships.

Identify referral barriers, concerns or opportunities and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.

Monitor referral activity and identify opportunities to increase referral volume.

Drive Local Business Development

Research and identify new opportunities within assigned markets.

Build a pipeline of prospective referral partners and actively move relationships forward.

Develop creative ways to gain access to high-value offices and decision-makers.

Coordinate lunch-and-learns, CE opportunities, office visits and other relationship-building activities.

Represent the organization at dental, healthcare and community events.

Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and community involvement that support practice growth.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, field marketing, healthcare marketing, physician/dental relations, community outreach, account management or a related field.

Demonstrated success building professional relationships and developing new business or referral opportunities.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Comfortable making in-person visits and initiating conversations with new contacts.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to independently manage a territory and prioritize opportunities.

Comfortable using CRM, reporting and productivity tools.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to travel regularly throughout an assigned territory.
