Other duties include gathering feedback directly from customers and using it to evaluate and improve the work of the team. This type of position can appear in just about any industry that routinely employs remote workers. Fusion Senior Field Sales Manager

Position Overview

Fusion is one of Autodesk's fastest growing businesses, and we are building a world class field sales organization to match that momentum. We are hiring a Fusion Field Sales Manager to lead a team of high impact sellers including Fusion Named Account Executives, Fusion Midmarket Account Executives, and Fusion Territory Sales Executives. This leader will drive pipeline, field execution, customer engagement, and quota performance across a diverse set of account types.

This is a frontline sales leadership role for someone who loves being out in front with customers, coaching reps in real sales situations, and holding a high standard on forecast accuracy and pipeline quality. You will manage a mixed team of overlay sellers in Named and Midmarket, as well as primary sellers in Territory. The work requires tight partnership with Autodesk's Named and Midmarket sales leaders to ensure Fusion strategies align with broader account plans.

Autodesk's culture emphasizes curiosity, rapid innovation, and ownership. We believe in "reimagining what is possible," taking smart risks, and pursuing results with urgency. Within Fusion we amplify that mindset with startup speed, accountability, and a bias for action. You'll work on the staff of the Fusion Director of Sales for your region and play a critical role in scaling one of Autodesk's most strategic businesses.

If you are a field-first manager who loves inspecting deals, driving execution, elevating sellers, and shaping the future of a high growth business, this is the kind of leadership role that will stretch and reward you.

Responsabilities

  • Lead a team of Fusion sellers across Named, Midmarket, and Territory motions, ensuring strong execution and consistent customer engagement
  • Coach reps directly in the field by joining customer calls, participating in on site meetings, and modeling high impact selling
  • Drive pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and deal inspection using Salesforce and modern sales tools
  • Align closely with Autodesk's Named and Midmarket leadership teams to coordinate account strategies and avoid motion conflict
  • Partner with technical sales, marketing, and channel to accelerate opportunities and build repeatable field motions
  • Maintain a high-performance culture centered on accountability, urgency, and continuous development
  • Fusion revenue performance in your region
  • Pipeline creation, quality, and forecast accuracy
  • Adoption and expansion of Fusion across target accounts
  • Team performance, development, and retention
  • Collaboration and execution across sales segments and technical teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven success as a frontline sales manager in complex software sales
  • Strong field orientation with comfort jumping into real customer conversations to coach or advance deals
  • Ability to lead both overlay sellers and direct sellers with clarity and consistency
  • High standards for pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined execution
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales segments and cross functional teams
  • Competitive drive, strong business judgment, and a passion for building a winning team
  • fluency in German is a plus

Fusion is reshaping how manufacturers design, engineer, and make products. Autodesk is investing heavily in Fusion field capacity, creating a huge opportunity for leaders who want to build and scale something meaningful.
