Gridsource Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Field Manager in Minneapolis, MN.
A Telecommunications Field Manager must supervise, interview, select, promote, schedule, train, motivate, evaluate, and discipline assigned groups. Resume must show prior supervisory experience. The salary will be discussed during interview.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrate prior experience in leading a diverse workgroup
• Demonstrate experience applying industry standards and best practices in various utility communications systems environments
• Demonstrate considerable knowledge of modern telecommunications services and related offerings
• Demonstrate effective customer service principles and techniques
• Demonstrate knowledge of sound and consistent management practices and principles including well-developed human relation skills
• OSP Construction knowledge is a plus
• Fiber Splicing knowledge a plus
• MDU Construction knowledge is a plus
• Fiber Drop placement, splicing, and testing is required
• Fiber placing knowledge is a plus
• Residential Fiber Installation experience is required
• Residential Copper experience is required
Qualified candidates must have the following skills to be considered:
• Must have prior Telecom supervision experience - minimum of 2 years of I/R Supervisor Experience
• Must live in local market area
• Must have experience running a crew
• Must have extensive knowledge in the telecommunications industry and contracting side of the business desired
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have knowledge with equipment used
• Must have Fiber and Copper background
