Our goal is to provide products and services that meet our customers' needs in a timely fashion with the highest level of quality and value.Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.Due to growth, we are looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Clerk team member. JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY Assist in receiving, storing, pulling and loading of orders for distribution while maintaining an organized layout of inventory control with controlled record keeping

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Shipping Fulfill distribution orders based picking lists and/or other order type documents with accuracy. Call / Schedule Trucks. Familiar with Bills of Lading and packing lists.

Drive truck to various locations to deliver materials. Obtain authorized signature for supplies requested. Load and unload delivery truck by hand or by use of hand truck.

Receiving Verify accuracy of incoming product by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and code numbers with information on vendor invoice or packing slip and purchase orders; recording any discrepancies or damage. Open crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received. Inspect shipments for damage and defects.

Recording information into the computer system to create accurate records. Inventory/Preservation/Kitting-Assembly Preserve finished products and package for inventory storage. Assist in the kitting and/or assembly of component packages or assemblies.

Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart. Sort and store items according to established procedures. Maintain computerized inventory records , take physical count periodically, and check against inventory control totals using computer.

Requisition additional supplies to purchasing department as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment. Ability to operate a personal computer.

Experience with deliveries. Experience with inventory control procedures. Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

Good verbal and written communication skills. Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge. Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations. Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed. Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.

Understanding and support of company policies and procedures. Safety conscious behavior. Excellent attendance.
