FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS & ENGINEERS                             85%+ Travel Required

We need Engineers and Technicians who will install, program, and service innovative CNC fab and machine tool solutions at company and customer sites. Location: candidates will be considered who live within 50 miles of DFW airport


The Field Service Engineers & Engineers are responsible for:

 

  • Installation and service of custom-engineered CNC machines at customer plants, including check-outs, set up, tooling, operation and programming.
  • Performing maintenance on machines as needed
  • Advising and assisting in the selection and ordering of tools and repair parts
  • Preparing and submitting service time and expense reports accurately
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers
  • Building and starting up of machine tool equipment
  • Responding to customer installations or problems on short notice
  • Assembling and starting up new CNC machines to company specifications
  • Utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.
  • Reading and following mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints and drawings

The Field Service Technicians and Engineers will excel with:

 

  • Associates Degree, Technical school or Military Certification highly preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of machine tools maintenance or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, metal cutting tools and CNC systems or machine tool
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery and programming (FANUC a plus) or machine tool
  • Machine tool experience required
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crawl, sit, stand, crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel heavily.
