Job Title: Associate National Equipment Specialist
Location: Remote
Comp: $27-32/hour
Travel: Travel expectation is 80-100%. A typical work week includes traveling to site Monday and returning home Friday end of day; intermittently, some weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Equipment commissioning and customer training for Kurita America water systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance for Kurita equipment and equipment manufactured by others.
  • Troubleshoot and repair customer water systems and equipment.
  • Make technical recommendations to customers to improve system performance.
  • Complete all required reports and records in timeframes and formats determined by Kurita America.
  • Customer Service - Build relationships with both external and internal customers, providing both on-site and telephone support.
  • Collaborate with project team, colleagues, and management to resolve or escalate problems.
  • Ensure site work is carried out in the required order for completion by the required timeline.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Ability to travel via airplane and automobile, being away from home 5 days a week.
  • High School Diploma or GED required - associate degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude required.
  • 1-2 years "Hands-on" experience with Electro-Mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC motor controls, PLC's, VFD's, and Pump Systems is preferred.
  • Must maintain valid driver's license and passport for travel to Canada.

Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner.
  • Climb, ascend, and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Stand and walk for sustained periods of time.
  • Push, pull, lift, bend, and stoop for sustained periods of time.
  • Use upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force.
  • Occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees for extended periods of time (i.e., more than one hour).
