Job description

Job Title: Mechanic AssistantJob Description

Join our team as a Mechanic Assistant, where you will support a service technician specializing in crane repair. This role offers a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, acting as the right-hand support to the manager. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with communications, preparing quotes and estimates, and drafting contracts. This position includes traveling to job sites and engaging with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the service technician in crane repair tasks.
  • Support the manager by answering emails and taking phone calls.
  • Provide accurate quotes and estimates.
  • Travel with the manager to job sites and participate in customer and contractor meetings.
  • Draft contracts and conduct job site surveys, including taking photographs.
  • Assist in creating reports using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle hand and power tools effectively.
  • Experience in construction management and project coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Procore and construction management software.
  • Experience in on-site supervision.
  • Service-oriented with maintenance technician skills.

Pay and Benefits
