Creekside High School is looking to hire an Assistant Track & Field Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This is a part-time stipend position.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in Developing and implementing a comprehensive track and field program that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
-Assist in planning and leading track and field practices and team meetings.
-Coordinate and attend all track and field events, including games, competitions, and community performances.
-Collaborate with school administrators, athletic directors, and other coaches to ensure the success of the track and field program.
-Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and boosters regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations.
-Manage eligibility and administrative policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-Previous coaching experience in track and field, preferably at the high school level.
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Commitment to promoting a positive team culture and fostering the personal development of student-athletes.
-Required Certification in CPR, First Aid, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, and Heat Illness, Sportsmanship, Bullying & Hazing, and Recruitment
-Willingness to adhere to all school and athletic department policies and procedures.
