Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, and asphalt on construction projects and will be responsible for documenting test results and supporting quality control efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
  • Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
  • Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
  • Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
  • Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control inspection, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
  • ATTI Field Certification
  • Nuclear Gauge Certification
