Opportunity Overview
The Teradyne SEG Field Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, driven Field Applications Manager. This is a player-coach position who will work collaboratively with the team as well as independently to determine and develop imaginative, thorough, and practical application solutions driving market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of 8+ Semiconductor Test Applications Engineers in our Teradyne Irvine location
  • Collaborate with the regional Sales partners to develop and execute account strategies to win design-ins, increase market share, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure oversight to guarantee technical, schedule, financial and strategic goals are met.
  • Develop, inspire, and lead a world-class team of semiconductor test professionals, and provide overall direction to the Team.
  • Recruit, hire, manage, assess, support, and develop team members.
  • Proactively plan and develop future needed skills.
  • Integrate all technical resources needed for customer success.
  • Train and ensure compliance with policies and best practices within team
  • Build and sustain personal relationships with our customers' key technical decision makers.

  • 10+ years of experience with ATE equipment, such as, Teradyne UltraFlex, UltraFlexPlus, Eagle, Advantest V93K, or other test equipment is required.
  • A BSEE or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have strong programming experience in C#, C++ or Visual Basic.
  • People-Oriented: A leader who values team development and fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Previous management experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing complex semiconductor test program development with a large global team.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire the team while creating a highly empowered organization.
  • Strong communication skills

    • communicate with Marketing, Engineering, and Sales management.
  • Ability to travel 25% or more, domestic and international.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $197,400 to 315,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
