Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for customers integrating DC/DC converters, AC/DC power supplies, and modular power systems.
  • Support product evaluations, design-in activities, system integration, qualification, and field deployments.
  • Recommend power architectures, converter selection, and application-specific solutions.
  • Collaborate with R&D to improve next-generation power conversion products based on customer requirements.
  • Perform simulation, hardware validation, electrical characterization, efficiency, thermal, and EMI/EMC testing.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
  • Support onsite customer testing, commissioning, and technical training across North America.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams throughout new product introduction and production.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
  • BS with 3+ years of relevant experience or MS with 1-2 years of industry or graduate research experience.
  • Experience with:
    • DC/DC converters
    • AC/DC power conversion
    • Switching power supplies (SMPS)
    • Analog and digital electronics
    • Power converter control
  • Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation.
  • Proficiency using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, PSIM, or similar simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within North America.

Pay Range
USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.

    • Phase-Shifted Full Bridge (PSFB)

    • Flyback and Forward

  • Experience with SiC MOSFETs, SiC Diodes, Si IGBTs, and GaN power devices.
