Program Manager:
The Program Manager serves as the senior lead responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all program activities in support of an integrated healthcare system. The Program Manager provides strategic leadership and ensures the successful execution of program objectives aligned with VA priorities, delivering high-quality, compliant, and timely outcomes across all task areas.Key Responsibilities• Lead the planning, initiation, execution, management, and closeout of complex healthcare programs.• Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government, providing executive-level communication, status reporting, and issue resolution.• Support VA in achieving targeted program goals, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, timelines, and performance metrics.• Provide oversight of program scope, schedule, cost, and risk management, ensuring adherence to contract requirements and quality standards.• Coordinate and integrate activities across multiple teams, stakeholders, and functional areas within a large healthcare system.• Establish and maintain governance structures, performance tracking, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability.• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize program impacts and ensure continuity of operations.• Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, VA policies, and industry best practices.• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance program delivery, efficiency, and outcomes.Minimum Qualifications• Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.• Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Experience: o Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare-related program management supporting tasks.o Demonstrated experience managing programs within an integrated healthcare delivery system.o Minimum 6 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, preferably within a federal environment.o Proven experience managing end-to-end program lifecycles (planning through closeout).Desired Qualificationso Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or similar federal healthcare agencies.o Demonstrated expertise in large-scale program integration, stakeholder engagement, and executive communications.o Experience implementing performance metrics, data-driven decision-making, and program governance frameworks.Core Competencieso Program and Portfolio Managemento Strategic Planning and Executiono Federal Healthcare Systems Knowledgeo Stakeholder and Executive Engagemento Risk and Issue Managemento Performance Monitoring and Reportingo Compliance and Quality AssuranceAdditional Requirements:
