Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, Central New York, is seeking a General podiatrist to join our staff.

  • Salary Range: $180,000 - $225,000
  • Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
  • Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Join an established group of 2 General Podiatrists and 4 Podiatric Surgeons
  • Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
  • Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
  • Call expectation of one week every 5th week. Option to perform limb salvage cases and take limb salvage call. No elective cases.
  • 180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center
  • Instant Referral Base provided by over 300 Primary Care Clinicians
  • Opportunity for procedure room privileges

Requirements

  • DPM
  • BC/BE
  • Completion of an accredited USA Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency
  • New York State Licensure
  • BLS Certification Required

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $180,000 - $225,000.
    • This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
  • Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
  • Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.  Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
