Job Description:

The Role

As a Senior Manager within Digital Assets Accounting, you will lead a team responsible for supporting Fidelity's digital asset investment products, overseeing daily accounting operations, pricing, and reporting deliverables. You will manage associates performing core accounting functions and act as a primary escalation point for operational activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to control standards.

You will be accountable for the execution of end-to-end accounting processes across blockchain-enabled investment products, including books and records maintenance, digital asset pricing, wallet and custodian reconciliations, and NAV production. The role includes oversight of both on-chain and off-chain activities, as well as lifecycle event processing such as forks, airdrops, and staking rewards.

In addition to core operational delivery, you will play a key role in driving process improvements and supporting initiatives focused on automation, scalability, and efficiency. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Accounting, Pricing, Technology, and Product teams to support new product launches and ensure operational readiness for evolving digital asset structures.

As a people leader, you will be responsible for developing talent, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. You will also contribute to broader business priorities by providing insights into operational performance, identifying risks, and recommending enhancements to processes and controls.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, including NAV production, pricing, reconciliations, and financial reporting for alternative or investment products
  • Experience supporting digital asset products, including familiarity with cryptocurrencies, tokens, blockchain networks, exchanges, custodians, and wallet structures
  • Working knowledge of digital asset operational workflows, including on-chain and off-chain transaction processing, reconciliation, and lifecycle event management
  • Advanced knowledge of alternative investments with a focus on digital assets, including an understanding of how blockchain technology supports the recording and reconciliation of portfolio transactions
  • Experience leading teams and overseeing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and escalate issues effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Experience with accounting platforms such as Geneva and strong data proficiency (e.g., Excel) preferred

The Team

In Global Product Solutions (GPS), we're on a mission to deliver innovative and exceptional product and program solutions from concept through execution. Our team is part of the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) organization.

As a dedicated Digital Asset Accounting team within GPS, we are focused on building and scaling specialized operational capabilities to support Fidelity's digital asset product platform, moving beyond a traditional shared service model. This includes books and records maintenance, digital asset pricing, fund and security level performance analysis, financial reporting, and tax work.

The Digital Asset Accounting team provides end-to-end operational support, including daily NAV production, digital asset pricing, blockchain reconciliation, financial reporting, and control oversight. The team plays an important role in ensuring processes and controls are effectively designed and executed to support a growing and increasingly complex set of digital asset products.

Working closely with business and technology partners, the team supports the integration of blockchain-related data into accounting workflows, drives process improvements, and enhances transparency and efficiency across operations. This includes supporting new product launches and ensuring operational readiness through scalable and well-controlled processes.

The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$180,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
