Job description

Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a senior-level Identity Intelligence Analyst to search, triage, and examine biometric data using advanced techniques and tools to adjudicate identity intelligence and support national intelligence requirements. The analyst will provide high-fidelity analysis as a biometrics examiner to inform decision makers, as well as provide recommendations to enhance customer capabilities and technologies. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the intelligence and/or law enforcement communities, meticulous attention to detail, and is comfortable operating within structured processes that result in high production output.
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
  • Integrating and analyzing disparate, raw data to establish, link, and confirm identities across multiple data sources and intelligence streams;
  • Coordinating data and technical exchanges with internal and external partners under the supervision of program and/or customer leadership;
  • Ensuring all products adhere to applicable customer and community standards;
  • Maintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed;
  • Engaging with colleagues to support initiatives designed to enhance customer tools and close capabilities gaps

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, 4 years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree;
  • Experience with biometric technologies, standards, and best practices;
  • Experience leveraging analytic methodologies and tradecraft, and ability to apply those skills within the intelligence cycle;
  • Excellent attention to detail, and willingness and ability to work within existing standard operating procedures;
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues with support from leadership

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a forensic science;
  • Experience supporting national-level customers;
  • Experience working in the customer's operational environment;
  • Experience leveraging customer tools and databases to develop analytic products;
  • Relevant certifications such as those offered by the International Association for Identification

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
