Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs manual measurements and inspects/records results. Alerts team on pipe defects.
  • Mixes epoxy following procedures
  • Maintains epoxy resin level in baths during production runs
  • Assembles fiberglass packs in preparation for loading winder machines
  • Set up line, load/unload fiberglass packs and resin baths
  • Prepare winders at the beginning of each run by stringing fiberglass tows
  • Fixes broken yarns and monitors pipe quality
  • Removed oven film and shrink tape from the pipe at the end of the oven
  • Prepares ovens at the beginning of each run
  • Coordinate the setup of new jobs and ensure that a run checklist is completed at the start of each production run
  • Ensure completion of all paperwork at the run's completion
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
  • Communicates mechanical and electrical problems to the maintenance department
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
  • Utilize safe work habits
  • Wear appropriate PPE
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 6 to 8 hours daily
  • Lifting weights to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to understand, speak, and read work instructions, and safety notices in English
