Job description

Architectural Fiberglass, Inc. (AFI) is one of the premier fiberglass manufacturers leading the industry for over 20 years in design and manufacture of custom fiberglass in our state of the art manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH. We custom design and manufacture interior and exterior decorative fiberglass reinforced polymer (FTP) ornamentation for the restoration, reproduction and new construction industries.
AFI is looking to hire Mold Prep Employees to help our business continue to grow. This candidate must be organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate with professionalism.
This is a unique position that requires NO EXPERIENCE. WE WILL TRAIN ALL ASPECTS OF THIS JOB. All that is needed to become an AFI employee is the willingness to learn and the desire to put forth your best efforts.
This work involves cleaning, sealing, waxing, buffing and some sanding.
Employees will place protective paper on the areas of the mold that do not need to be sprayed.
Employees will also be involved carrying molds, attaching T-nuts to the molds, and placing molds on carts.
Employee will be responsible for demolding the parts from the molds, taking parts outside or to the designated area(s).
Employees will be responsible for cleaning his/her area after use and general housekeeping plus any other duties that the Supervisor may request.
