Job description

Infusion Technician

Freeman Boatworks is hiring an Infusion Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the resin infusion process used to build our high-performance composite boats. Previous experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply dry bulk fiberglass for hulls, decks, and cores
  • Install vacuum and feed lines as well as bagging materials
  • Assist with the vacuum infusion process, debagging, and prepping for secondary bonding
  • Pull parts from molds and inspect prior to quality control
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Occasionally required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, or crawl
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers with tools and materials
  • May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals in a manufacturing environment
