The operator works closely with foremen, utility locators, equipment operators, and ground crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications.

Daily responsibilities include following marked utility routes and project plans, protecting existing underground utilities, performing equipment inspections, identifying routine maintenance needs, and maintaining a safe and organized jobsite.
