Job description

This organisation is a high performance field services provider delivering critical fiber infrastructure across multiple states. Known for quality workmanship, strong team culture, and consistent standards, they operate with a clear philosophy that efficiency and quality go hand in hand. Their teams are trusted to deliver results independently while maintaining exceptional client relationships and technical standards.

We are seeking a number of Fiber Optic Splicers to perform high quality splicing and testing work in a fast paced field environment. As a Fiber Optic Splicer, you will operate independently, manage your own workload, and deliver consistent results while upholding strict quality and efficiency benchmarks.

You will be responsible for
• Performing fiber splicing, testing, and installation work to high quality standards
• Managing daily workload independently while maintaining efficiency targets across projects
• Preparing, organising, and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials
• Delivering consistent results aligned to production expectations and timelines
• Representing the company professionally on site and contributing to strong client relationships

You will need
• 2+ years of fiber splicing experience in a field based environment
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly and execute accurately
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel Monday to Friday

Location
Field based role with travel across regional project sites in Iowa and Illinois. Work schedule is minimum 40 hours per week, can be worked Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday with travel and overnight stays during the week and home every weekend. Overtime is also available.
