Job description

The Fiber Optic Splicer is responsible for the precise splicing and testing of both standard and specialty fiber optic cables. Working primarily in outdoor, underground, and aerial environments, this role requires a high level of technical skill and physical dexterity. Typically operating within small teams or independently, the splicer frequently travels to various job sites to ensure optimal cable performance and connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cable splicing with precision and accuracy
  • Conduct fiber optic testing to ensure signal integrity
  • Troubleshoot fiber optic network issues efficiently

Preferred Qualifications
