The major responsibility is to prepare STEM samples using FEI/Thermo Fisher Helios dual beam FIB-SEM tools using ifast and AutoTEM software in an autonomy focused workflow.
Primary responsibility for this position is the preparation and imaging of samples in Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM) using Thermo Fisher Helios systems. Additional responsibilities may include FIB-SEM analysis, EDS, and Critical Dimension SEM.

Who we're looking for
- 0-2 years of experience with a BS degree in a physical science, or a specialized AS degree or equivalent professional training on materials science and analytical techniques.
- Ability to work a shift schedule.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating dual beam FIB/SEM tools, especially in the preparation of thin lamella for STEM or TEM imaging.
- Knowledge of the physics involved with FIB/SEM tools, and voltage/current is a plus.
- Familiarity with key developments and materials in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Experience creating and presenting technical documentation.
- Experience in customer IP protection and sample handling is a plus.
- Great spatial awareness for tool operation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a high throughput environment.
- This position is a compressed 12hr/day schedule from 5am - 5pm which alternates between three and four days per week.
- This shift is front end days Sunday through Wednesday, with Wednesday alternating every other week.
