Job Summary:
BigRio is a technology consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA, specializing in software solutions and data analytics. They are seeking a PowerBI Healthcare Analyst to serve as a vital link between the engineering team and business objectives by creating automated reports and ensuring the successful completion of internal analytical tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Account Management leadership with identifying patterns and relationships in data; produce periodic and ad hoc reports based on these analyses in PowerBI.
• Produce and improve the existing PowerBI reporting model to provide repetitive and regular analytics to business leaders.
• Partner with business teams to define and prioritize reporting system enhancement requests.
• Employ critical metrics and KPIs that drive success and design reporting solutions to measure organizational performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare IT industry, with an understanding of EMR/EHR, PHI, and standard business metrics
• 3+ years of experience using PowerBI to create in-depth reports and analyses.
• Experience with FHIR data is a huge plus.
• Knowledge of best practices in business analytics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) with advanced skill level in Excel (pivot tables and charts, macros, VLOOKUPs, formulas, charts, modeling, etc.)
• Ability to turn data into business insight reports and determine data errors to address with business resources.
• Ability to demonstrate strong and effective business communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to explain data requirements to technical resources with the purpose of gathering data needed to track and report on business objectives
• Bachelor's degree or technical certificate in mathematics, statistics, data analysis, computer science or a related field.
• Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required equivalent qualifications for the position.
