Job description

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Gardener to support our Engineering Department.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform all gardening tasks such as mow, trim, weed eating, edge, rake, clean, dead head flowers, weed, assist with pool maintenance, sweep (high and low), add wood chips as needed (for aesthetics and maintenance).
  • Schedule and creatively design plantings; beds and pots while maintaining and cleaning all exterior lighting and fencing.
  • Maintain a fertilizing schedule and spray for pets as instructed by supervisor.

General Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a gardener at a commercial facility.
  • Experience with general gardening techniques, including mowing, trimming, watering, planting, soil preparation and fertilizing.
  • Knowledge of plant species and growth characteristics of a wide variety of plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers suitable to the area.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to load, unload, and push equipment and/or carts up to 100 pounds
