Job description

AGRILAND FS looking for a person wanting to work in sales as a consultant.  Do you have experience learning the why behind the what on a job?  Do you have exposure or passion for a rural culture and ag?  Are you interested in a company that will invest in you?  As a member of our AGRILAND FS Team, this individual will combine their work ethic and desire to learn with our training and development programs to make a direct impact on customer's entire acre, with a focus on seed, fertilizer, crop protection, precision farming.

Main responsibilities:

  • Purposely schedule in person meetings with farmers to develop a professional relationship and learn about their agronomy needs
  • Assist operations with the leadership, scheduling and follow up with customers
  • Develop agronomy skills and actively pursue opportunities to identify and solve business and agronomy challenges for customers

What we need from you:

  • Minimum of a two or four year degree or equivalent experience in sales or an agriculture related industry
  • Strong agricultural aptitude with experience learning on the job to become an expert
  • Examples of influencing others either in a leadership or sales relationship
  • Strong business skills, such as ability to collaborate, communication skills, dedicated customer focus, and solid decision-making abilities
  • Experience working hours beyond normal to meet and exceed the needs of a customer
