OR/PACU RN Part-Time (Float)

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN Part-Time (Float) to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area. This position will float between our San Ramon and Menlo Park, California offices.

Schedule: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; rotating weekends and holidays

Compensation: $71 to $77 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the OR/PACU RN will:

  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
  • Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
  • Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
  • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
  • Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
  • Provide patient education

We're looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.

Qualifications and skills include:

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
  • Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
