What is the difference between Fertility Advocate vs Fertility Counselor?
| Aspect | Fertility Advocate | Fertility Counselor |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Often requires certification in fertility advocacy or patient support | Requires counseling or therapy certifications, such as LPC or LMFT |
| Work Environment | Hospitals, clinics, patient support groups | Private practice, clinics, mental health settings |
| Industry Usage | Supports patients emotionally and informationally during fertility treatments | Provides emotional counseling and mental health support related to fertility |
