Facility Maintenance:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems (HVAC, minor plumbing, minor building electrical, lighting, doors, dock doors, roofs, painting, etc.)

  • Respond to facility work orders

  • Maintain grounds, parking areas, fencing, and exterior building appearance

  • Assist with equipment installation projects

  • Monitor and maintain critical facility systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, compressed air, etc.)

Wastewater Treatment Operations & Maintenance :

  • Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems (biological, physical-chemical, DAF, MBR, clarifiers, sludge handling, etc.)

  • Perform routine process monitoring, sampling, and laboratory testing (pH, TSS, BOD, COD, etc.)

  • Hourly checks and reporting of the wastewater treatment area

  • Adjust chemical feed rates, aeration, pumping, and other process parameters to maintain compliance daily

  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on treatment equipment (pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, instrumentation, filter presses, etc.)

  • Assist during regulatory inspections and sampling events

  • Respond to treatment process upsets, spills, and emergency situations

General Responsibilities (All Roles):

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and LOTO protocols

  • Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

  • Work occasional overtime as required

  • Assist other departments during major shutdowns, projects, or emergencies
