Role DescriptionWe are seeking someone who understands the fencing and/or construction industry, is confident working directly with customers and contractors, and can take a project from the initial site visit through measurements, estimating, and closing the sale.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and motivated by growth and earning potential.
- Visit residential and commercial customers, construction sites, and project locations throughout the Las Vegas area
- Meet with customers to understand their fencing and gate needs
- Take accurate field measurements and document site conditions
- Recommend fencing solutions based on the customer's needs, project requirements, and budget
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and project documents
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, project managers, and other customers
- Follow up on estimates and opportunities to help close sales
- Maintain accurate customer, project, and estimating information
- Work with our office, project management, and field teams to ensure projects are properly communicated and handed off
- Provide excellent customer service from the initial appointment through the sales process
- 5+ years of experience in fencing, construction, construction sales, estimating, or a related field
- Valid driver's license and clean/reliable driving record
- Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and plans
- Strong measuring and basic estimating skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable using computers, email, estimating software, and other basic business technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates and customer opportunities
