Job description

Fence Installer Opportunity at Revolution Fence Company

We are a trusted fence installation company with over 10 years in business, specializing in both residential and commercial projects throughout Southwest Florida. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and quality service. We value employees who take ownership of their work and strive for excellence every day.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Fence Installer / Foreman to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in fence installation and ready to take on leadership responsibilities while remaining hands-on in the field.

Position Overview:

The Fence Installer / Foreman is responsible for leading and assisting a crew in the installation of fences while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This position is hands-on, meaning the foreman will work alongside their crew to complete installations — not just supervise them.

The ideal candidate understands how to read site surveys, interpret drawings, and ensure precise fence layouts. They should be able to install standard fencing types such as chain-link, vinyl, and aluminum. The candidate should be organized, dependable, and motivated to deliver top-tier results for every customer, while leading an efficient and organized crew on the job site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and work alongside the crew to install fences of various materials (chain link, vinyl, wood, aluminum, etc.).
  • Read and interpret site surveys, drawings, and job layouts.
  • Find property pins and set string lines to ensure all fence lines and post placements are accurate.
  • Understand and execute the proper order of installation, from layout to cleanup.
  • Receive project handoffs from the Sales Representative or Project Manager and ensure completion according to company quality standards.
  • Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
  • Make sure PPE (personal protective equipment) is worn and safety standards are followed by the crew.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients as needed.
  • Adapt to varying site conditions, including uneven terrain, heat, and weather challenges common to Florida job sites.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2–3 years of construction experience required. (if you do not have experience as a fence installer, please explain what trade you were in and how those skills may apply to fence installation)
  • Ability to read and interpret site surveys and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of fence installation techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Proven ability to lead or train a crew effectively.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and take pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Comfortable with physical labor in outdoor environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • This position requires a preliminary 30-day evaluation
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive pay based on experience and leadership ability.
  • Opportunities for vertical growth.
  • Paid training and development.
  • Supportive and team-focused environment.
