Santa Rosa offers a picturesque setting in Sonoma County, known for its beautiful wine country scenery, Mediterranean climate, and exceptional quality of life. The area provides easy access to both outdoor recreation in the nearby redwoods and coast, as well as the cultural amenities of the Bay Area.
Facility:
This medical group operates a dedicated urology clinic conveniently located across from the main hospital, providing comprehensive urological services to the community. The facility is part of a respected healthcare network committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
• Permanent position with focus on female urology and pelvic floor reconstruction
• Handle 20-25 patient encounters per shift
• Call schedule of approximately 7-10 days per month
• Beeper call with onsite presence during weekday work hours (7am-5pm)
• Hospital callback (after 5pm or weekends) averages 3-5 times per week
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years
• California license required (will consider candidates willing to obtain CA license)
• Credentials include ACLS and BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• Required skills include general adult urology, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and ureteroscopy
• Must be proficient in radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and pelvic node dissection
• Experience with adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and TRUS biopsies
• Ability to perform incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
• Start date: ASAP

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
