Summary:
Cook Children's is looking for a paramedic to join our PREP/PACU team at Medical Center - Fort Worth. This is a part-time, hospital-based role delivering skilled patient care under the direction of a physician or RN - no nights, no weekends, no call, and no holidays. Ideal for a paramedic seeking predictable scheduled shifts. You'll work alongside a physician and RN team monitoring and caring for patients before and after anesthesia, with a strong focus on teamwork and family-centered communication.
Education & Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) certificate.
Paramedic license, EMT-P.
One year experience as paramedic preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Current BLS, PALS Certification.
Continuing education requirements for certification/licensure as required by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
