Summary:
To perform electrical and mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance in order to ensure production equipment performs as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding and printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system.
  • Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment
  • Preventative maintenance in molding.
  • Preventative maintenance in printing.
  • Preventative maintenance for support equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience:
Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. Six months to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education or experience
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
