Job description

A National livestock company is looking for a Feed Mill Manager due to a recent promotion. This company manufactures mostly cattle feed. In this role you would oversee the day to day production, increase production, hiring/firing and capital improvement projects. This company is notorious for promoting hard workers into larger roles as they open up!

Feed Mill Manager Job Description:
  • Maximize production
  • Hire/Train/Lead a team of20 total employees
  • Help grow business to become a continuous facility
  • Oversee safety, OSHA, HACCP for the facility
  • Host international visitors and large customer tours
  • Train Employees and hold them accountable
  • Manage budgets and P&L
  • Be out in the facility making sure things are getting done
Feed Mill Manager Background Requirements:
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience required (livestock feed or nutrition experience is preferred)
  • May also consider other areas of Ag operations (grain)
  • LEAN, OSHA, HACCP and safety experiencepreferred
  • Strong communicator and leader
  • Need to be able to motivate and lead people of all levels
  • Experience growing a team and improving processes
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary between $100,000-$130,000 with bonus possibility
  • Full Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision)
