We are looking for a Project Manager to support the VA's governance objectives.
Overview
We are looking for a sharp, dependable, and highly organized Office Manager to provide essential administrative and operational support to our Executive Director and program leadership at our Groton, CT (NNRO) location. This is not a background role , you will be the operational heartbeat of the office, directly enabling senior leaders to focus on what matters most.

The Office Manager will:
As Office Manager, you'll own the day-to-day administrative function of a dynamic defense contracting office. Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare, format, review, and route briefings, reports, and administrative products for senior leadership with minimal oversight
Manage complex schedules, anticipate conflicts, and keep leadership ahead of every commitment
Arrange travel and process authorizations and vouchers using the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Monitor taskers, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Organize meetings, conferences, VTCs, and visitor activities across leadership levels
Maintain organized filing systems and enforce document control procedures
Exercise sound judgment and discretion when managing classified or sensitive administrative information
Help new personnel navigate in-processing with professionalism and ease
Coordinate supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to ensure a well-functioning workspace
Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities
Individuals working for SBG Technology Solutions, Inc, a DSS, Inc. will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated hands-on experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS) - travel authorizations and vouchers
Proven track record supporting senior military, government, or corporate leaders with correspondence, reporting, and calendar management
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce polished, senior-leader-ready products independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to maintain reliable in-person presence across two office locations (Groton, CT & Newport, RI)
High degree of discretion and professional judgment in handling sensitive and classified information
Active SECRET Security Clearance
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience supporting NAVSEA, submarine programs, NNRO, or other Navy organizations
Familiarity with SharePoint and government administrative platforms
Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams across multiple office locations
