Description:
Sandbox Logistics Inc., a FedEx Ground Independent Service Provider, is seeking dependable, safety-first Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Drivers to join our Tupelo team. As a P&D Driver, you will deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences using company-provided FedEx-branded vehicles.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a FedEx Ground-branded delivery vehicle (step van, box truck, or similar)
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle daily
  • Load, deliver, and pick up packages along designated routes
  • Scan and log all packages using a provided scanner
  • Interact professionally with customers while ensuring all deliveries meet FedEx Ground’s service standards
  • Follow DOT, company, and terminal safety protocols at all times
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs
Minimum Requirements:

  • 12 months of verifiable driving experience in the past 3 years OR 5 years in the past 10 years (box truck, step van, or similar vehicle)
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL NOT required)
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
  • Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years)
  • Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with a dolly or team assistance
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer service-focused
Schedule:

  • Monday–Saturday (6-day work week) 
  • Weekend availability required during peak seasons
  • Start time: 7:30 AM until route completion
