Job description

Parts Associate – Day Shift

Location: Milton, ON (Derry Rd & Fifth Line)

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Associate to support their busy warehouse operations. The primary responsibilities include order picking, packing, stocking, shipping, and receiving duties to support production and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, stock, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Interpret packing slips and accurately enter information into the system
  • Receive and process incoming goods and supplies
  • Complete bills of lading and work with major freight carriers
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Estimate shipment weights to calculate shipping costs
  • Follow proper packaging methods and shipping procedures
  • Operate common material handling equipment
  • Use UPS/FedEx online shipping software when required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English and follow verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills required
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Solomon, CRM, or similar systems is considered an asset
