What is a FedEx OTR driver?

FedEx OTR (Over-The-Road) Drivers are professional truck drivers responsible for transporting freight over long distances across state lines, often spending several days or weeks on the road. They typically operate tractor-trailers and deliver shipments between FedEx hubs, distribution centers, and customer locations nationwide. These drivers ensure timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to federal and company safety regulations. OTR drivers often enjoy flexible schedules, competitive pay, and the opportunity to see different parts of the country.
