We are currently seeking a skilled Shipping Material Handler to join our team.
This position will package, record, and ship product according to delivery date, meeting on-time delivery requirements. Will perform primary tasks such as: core and casting preparation, boxing, route ticket/paperwork completion, filing of final paperwork, forklift and staging of product for pick-up. May load/unload trucks, receive company deliveries/material & distribute to appropriate departments, 6S department areas, inspect castings, support outsource responsibilities, assist others with their work, and be able to work overtime when applicable. May drive company vehicles to deliver castings to vendors/customers. Will process shipments through company database, customer portals and shipping software.

  3. Maintain acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle.

  6. Knowledge of UPS and FedEx software preferred

Experience:
  1. One to two years of shipping/receiving experience, preferred
  2. Carpentry and use of hand tools preferred
