Starting wage: $17.25/hr and up to 18/hr
Shift Time(s): 9:15am ~ 7:15pm

As a Delivery Driver at Flatlands Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: DKS3
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
  • Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws
  • Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
  • Report any issues or problems to management immediately
Though we aim to offer fixed work schedules, delivery drivers must have some degree of flexibility, particularly during Prime Week and during the holiday season. Most drivers are required to work at least 1 weekend day.

Qualifications
As a Delivery Driver, You'll Need:
  • Valid sate issued ID. No CDL required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be reliable and flexible.
  • Keep pace in a physically demanding job - work in all weather conditions and on a variety of routes; handle 150+ packages per day while walking up stairs and getting in and out of the vehicle 100+ times per day.
  • Load delivery vans with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Be a self-starter who can problem solve, and make rapid and sound decisions.
  • Use a hand-held device for routing and customer delivery information.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Give consent for a pre-employment screenings - including a 4 panel drug test
  • Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
