What are FedEx contractor drivers?

FedEx contractor drivers are individuals employed by independent service providers, not directly by FedEx, to deliver packages on FedEx's behalf. These contractors operate under a business agreement with FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery, providing last-mile delivery services to customers. This arrangement allows FedEx to expand its delivery network without directly hiring drivers as employees.
